Every little bit we do can make a BIG difference!
This year our employees voted overwhelmingly to support Macmillan Cancer Support as the RIAS 2010 Employee Charity of the Year. We have set ourselves an ambitious fundraising target of £25,000, and have a number of fantastic activities planned throughout the year to ensure we meet our goal. Take a look at the activities we have been involved in so far this year.
Bournemouth Abseil
12 brave RIAS employees from our Bournemouth office abseiled down the 180ft water tower at Tower Park, Poole, including Finance Director Nick Lemans. Well done team!

Belfast Marathon
Our Belfast team have also been busy taking part in a nine mile marathon walk, and one very brave man, Paul Johnston, ran the 26.2 mile Belfast Marathon on 3 May! Well done Paul!
Belfast Abseil
A number of our Belfast employees took the plunge and abseiled down the Europa Hotel in Belfast for Macmillan Cancer Support. Well done to all 13 employees who rose to the challenge and raised money for our 2010 Employee Charity of the Year.

Dorset Bike Ride
Back in Bournemouth, we supported the Dorset Bike Ride on 4 July, with a number of our employees taking part in the 10, 20, 38, 48, 60 and even 100 mile routes through the Dorset countryside. In total, the RIAS team cycled 796 miles and raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Coming up...
And towards the end of the year we are also going to support the Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event, and take part in two Halloween fire walking challenges! Watch this space for the latest updates and photos!
